That could be useful. We already know how to duck. <g> Seriously, the way this psycho treats other people and yet still beg for respect is beginning to remind me more and more of the Atlanta daytrader who went amok after his surefire mechanical trading system failed and all his personal shit came back to haunt him.

did someone mention my name within the last 24 hours in here? ;-)

<< don't know if PigBoy could that, even though Hotmail is notoriously porous. But I know others who could. <g> >>

I couldn't. But I can find very useful things for this thread, such as this link-- ;-)

Incidentally, I just got my latest George Gilder Technology Report (yes, I still subscribe) and who woulda thunk...George has gone and lost his heart full on to the Storage world. He calls it STOREWIDTH and of course, he's having a big hoo haw on April 10-12 for it. The speakers include people from big wigs such as EMC, Novell, Exodus, Veritas and some newbies by the name of Mangosoft, BlueArc, and Storability. They seem pretty interesting. Also, sticking to his guns, GG stays away from talking about Fibre Channel, SANs, and Infiniband in any sort of detail. However, there is a 3D full page picture of what the Internet Backbone will look like and it includes SAN switches and large SAN 'drivers'? I assume the drivers mean directors, but i may be off...

I LOVE the opening line of GG STORWIDTH marketing page for the April 10-12th conference. It reads--

"Technology, executives, engineers and industry leaders (myself (GG) included) are excited about a commodity that just a few months ago was considered downright boring-- storage."

LOL, and yes, I'll keep my subscription bc i need the laughs... ;-)
