The original topic here was rational management of privatized SS funds. Are you saying people are incapable of learning? I beg to differ. There is much evidence to the contrary. Also, if they really are terrible at financial management, they can put their money into mutual funds and let somebody else do it. I don't consider your comments any case against privatization at all. It's not that hard to beat the piddling returns from the government monopoly. An interest checking account can do that.
