Totally, incredibly, unbelievably off topic and overposted topic:

The golf course I normally play is irrigated with sewage effluent Don't have so many beers...

Actually it works very symbiotically. In an area where clean water is a valuable resource, tertiary stage "used" water is used by the Golf Course Sprinkling System to irrigate the course. 160 acres of watershed.

In passing thru the air, grass and the subsoil, the water is effectively filtered and purified. The course should be located in a area upstream, aquiferially speaking from the local sewage treatment plant.

Effluent for the affluent. :)

Just thought you'd like to know. :)
