I don't know what he is. No one does. He has strabismus so his vision is really bad. He has unexplained physical problems- so we are on our way to more testing (for fragile X and some other possible problems) and we are scheduled to have an MRI.

I am sure he will be able to do something- but I don't know how autonomously he will be able to live. I keep hoping he will radically change, for the better, but so far his deficits are getting more noticeable and not less.

I am feeling very badly here, because there is so much I want to say to you, but because of the assholes on SI, I can't say it in public. I'll take it to PM, Joelle, but here I'll say I'm very glad you are my friend and I wish I'd had a mom like you.
