ralfph --you are so right .....most do not remember being investors. We have all become monster gamblers over the last 2 years and as you may notice alot do not post here any more due to whatever and lack of funds. Short the market i been saying and doing. Heck i even have bagholdings and try to play a few long bounces from time to time. In the past 25 years i used to be an investor happy with 15% net returns in a year on total portfolios. Well it may be back to that here soon agian. We have just gone through the biggest cash machine bull market in history and now it payback time. I do not look for many bounces as the knife catcher therory has proven to me it is not the most sucessful strategy as of late and may or may not in the future. Look at all the pos CIC DSG MGI SVN CDV CLQ etc........ all have had their hay days and now setting 52 week lows.... anyone think these are not still good candidates for shorts? I say yes---short em till they bottom.....or CHap 11 or RS. BOTTOM? hmm what is that> Seems a term that the truest form of BULLS use to settle that queezy feeling in their stomach trying to justify why they still hold that pos from 150 to 20.00. Maybe the "bottom " is here maybe not ..... still alot of high PE cash burning cows with going alot lower written all over them. 20 years ago would you be buying EMCO or BCE if th PE was 250 or 2044. I think not . Heck most paying little or no divedend now. Well Good luck to the bulls and longs cause i will be not playing the hot bottom bouncer once high flying techs at this point. BB
