I plan on buying a new Dell very soon as well. It will be loaded right from the factory so the only thing I will be installing when it's delivered is a 80GB secondary hard drive.

Once that is installed, the first thing I will be doing is taking an image of the original configuration.

I was told by a Dell tech that the new systems come with a image of the original configuration, hidden somewhere on the disk. You have to call them to find out how to find it. But I prefer Drive Image.

Drive Image saved me many times from that awful 15 hour re-install that I once use to do for fun when I was bored.
