<<You just seem really negative, Victor. >>

Chris I've been quite negative on amzn for a long time, as have may others around here.

I was also negative on PCLN since the first time I looked at their SEC flings and saw how they operated their business. i should have shorted that one too.

I almost shorted Gardenburger at 7, but I shied away when i saw how much short volume there was on it, but it has since gone to pennies a share. Shorting is generally not my cup of tea, although i've often been tempted!

Sooner or later I think there will be a covering rally on amzn. Maybe tomorrow, with this rumor going around. I am sure other media outlets are already trying to verify it or expose it as a hoax.

Therefore, no matter what you think of AMZN, IMO, you should not rule out a decent short covering rally in the stock tomorrow based on the Walmart rumor/news.

Chris,

This is very accurate which is why I no longer take short positions. It does not matter if the rumor is planted or not but the stock will likely react positively.
