With articles like this hitting the mainstream press, could the dimmest of the dim fund managers still think it's a good idea to by banks? Time for some reality to hit people in the head I think...

Let's see, who's doing all this mortgage lending nowadays:

The originator sells the loan to Fannie Mae. They bundle and securitize it (and "insure" it) via a bankster, who sells it to your money market fund. So the ultimate lender is....the money market fund owning public!

Brave? I think not, just ignorant....<NG>
