I think you guys misunderstood me. I wasn't trying to make any point but to ask a question. Here it is:

In the next year or three will the price of equities be based on a fundamental, traditional, historic valuation basis or will another bubble be created by an inadequate supply compared to the liquidity supply today coupled with this generation's appetite for equities.

Looking at PEGs we are now close to fair value for some of SI favs. That was my position in the discussion but my friend from Merrill strongly believes that once greed overcomes fear and the cash starts rolling in from the sidelines another bubble will be created regardless of traditional valuation metrics.
