Also...TMS is a vertical fast being adopted in the NP market. For Cable and DSL subscriber equipment, the vertical is Tornado for Home Gateways. HOWEVER, it is expected that Network Processors will begin to replace ASIC solutions on the DSL infrastructure side. One interesting note is that one of the articles I posted assumes 1 processor per port for DSL. And I have another article predicting 90 million DSL ports shipped in 2004. So depending on the uptake of this new technology (I think they see NP's starting to grab more market share than ASIC's starting in 3-4 years), there may be upside to predictions.
