We have about 315 days of sunshine a year in Boulder. There is snow on the ground for maybe 20 of those days in a typical winter. Temperatures in the 60's are not uncommon in January, though 50 degrees of bright, dry, high altitude sunshine is plenty warm for golf.

Having said all that, this past winter was cold, dreary, and just downright miserable. We didn't have any extreme cold, but the high temperatures were running 10-20 degrees below normal.
