I think the review was of her life, not her most recent failed show - her so-called "swan song".

As for Yalta, you're right. Stalin had Hiss and other New Dealers working for him - and the half-dead FDR was a chump - so the confrontation was more stealth until Churchill woke the West up. It took five decades to clean up FDR's folly, assuming that's been done.
