Hi John:

So far the storm's bark was much louder than its bite. Maybe in the last hour the rain / sleet mix turned to snow with drop in visability. Stayed home and didn't need to.

It looks like the software sector will stay unloved for a while. ORCL has its own problems that analyst's have been blind to. I havent' been keen on orcl fundamentals since seeing its valuation compared to ifmx over a year ago. Its not the valuation thats the main issue. Of course ORCL is like MSFT and it is taking down other companies.

Its good to see the flush by the analysts now. Lets get it over with. Means for the companies with good fundamentals bottoms can be set. I would think TIBX under 10 is a good area (around 30x this year earnings). Ditto cmrc (I can see 10 area, at least 12, without news or without a market turn). ITWO can see more damage from nike but not all software is going down the tubes.

Still hard to pick a level to buy @. Every day its another warning. I can now see intc starting to ramp production and lower prices to pressure amd. intc can warn again (I read J Joseph @ SSB indicated as much) although I think they've cut in march before.

Good luck

Tim
