Economists at Aubrey Lanston predict this Friday's employment data will not be as weak as some suggest, forecasting a rise of 110,000 (consensus +75,000). They note that February payrolls have "a strong tendency to post gains substantially above trend growth in years when the survey period ends on the 17th of the month." They also note that layoffs in manufacturing will be offset somewhat by the resumption of production at 10 automotive plants in February

not good news if Fed is expected to effect a surprise cut on weak report.
