I don't think so, but we'll have to hear from DS to be sure.

I wouldn't be surprised that he's right that there is no particular IP upon which barriers to entry can be built. But they clearly have IP (as does virtually any technology company including the royalty plays.) If I understand him correctly, we could hypothesize that Peregrine has a proprietary, open technology with high switching costs but low barriers to entry. That is exactly how I would characterize Siebel's technology.
