Indeed. And as I have tried to say before: The idea of using your 'real name' on the internet is a very shallow gesture of honesty. I do not have a problem with posters that post (supposedly) under their real name until they start rosining up the old bow so they can play the 'anonymous posters are dishonest' saw. If a reader believes someone more because they have a real sounding name instead of judging them by the content of their post then they deserve what they got coming. Which is a loss eventually. If there are people who wish to hide their identity out of fear or malice wouldn't they prefer to use a 'real looking' name? The fact is without some sort of digital proof you can never fully trust that a person on the net is who they say they are.
