Good post. Also, a public thanks to you for pointing me towards the truth. I still remember stumbling into this group. If memory still serves me, I came here after hearing the Motley Fools guest host for the show my father really liked (Moneytalk) but I didn't listen to much since I was windusrfing most afternoons Spring to Fall and I listen to football the other times. Anyway, I remember saying something like I was impressed with the Motley Fools and I wanted more information. Well, I remember it was like walking into a Moonie meeting and saying "I think agnostics have something to say". The way people reacted sure made me take notice and I stuck around as I enjoyed the debate. I actually became quite a BB fan too, especially with all the people here telling me how wonderful he was. It took your posts and my recording the shows for a year (to listen to while driving to go windsurfing) before I got the REAL idea of what it was about: Good, basic investment advice cloaking an informercial to sell newsletters. There is nothing illegal with this but it is good to know when evaluating the advice. anyway, thanks for your efforts. Kirk out
