Hey dude, without LINUX there is no APACHE, most Apache servers run on Linux, not UNIX, and certainly not NT.
That's why the PALM OS is being ported to Bluetooth and WAP protocols. So that the Palm device can run other applications on the Palm device, and that, will enable the next step, Palm devices running opensource OS like linux, and JAVA applications, and then with non-static IP addressing, allowing mobile devices with their permanent IP address and domains names thereto to retrieved and send out, like servers, instead of like clients, information anywhere, and backing it up, storing it, where ever, and if, it wants to, anywhere, like on NTAP or emc or other SANs etc and other storage networked appliances (wireless or wired appliances). No easy feat, but ready sooner than you would think....once your old traditional views of servers and networks are liberated by todays technology.
(Incidentally, NT means "ANTE" just another MSFT gimmick to grab upgrade dollars, and keep you in Bill's poker game).
I am,
Truly your$,

Until then, I am just happy PALM keeps dominating any market it targets.
