Paul,

The NAZ NET NEW HIGHs/LOWs are still improving. Last THUR it was around negative 160, then on FRI negative 101, and right now at negative 32. Not that it cant reverse negatively, but for now its a clear improvement.

One problem is that many may be expecting explosive moves immediately to the upside, which have been common in the past. So if its not explosive upwards, some may consider it as weakness. Maybe its changing now to an slower/up-grinding pattern rather than the explosive "V-SHAPE" moves to the upside.

IBM can play a key role ST, it could swing nasdaq big up or down depending upon its confession...
can IBM immune from the IT slowdown? so far it holds up well comparing to other techs.
