This will be my very first option trade.
I like as a short the following: IBM SEBL JNPR ITWO. Now I got to choose one of them. Since this will be my very first option trade. I am taking my time in doing it...

Any advice which one to short ...

Sanjay,

"Shorting" is not an options trade. Perhaps you are thinking
"puts" but those have time value, volatility, expiry dates
and other complicated decisions and all the factors need to
be taken into account to take the level of risk/reward to
shoot for. Your question tells me that you should not do
the trade right now.

Here is what my advise would be....do a kind of paper trade
for a while. Every time you lose money, commit the amount
to your favourite charity account (that will keep you honest :-)).
Every time you win, pay yourself in your vacation/fun account.
Also read a lot and spend time on some SI option newbie
threads.

This (almost :-)) worked for me to learn.

Otherwise you are almost guaranteed to lose money,
you will in a den of lions with a toothpick for defense :-)
