Who thinks NTAP is going to make the forecasts for the April quarter? Almost everyone else in technology is missing March, who thinks NTAP is going to make their April numbers? If they are, then it is probably a good buy at current levels, if not, than not. That's the question.

You got your request, DownSouth! VRTS reiterated their previous guidance going forward on the CC this afternoon. They have NOT seen the slowdown which others have claimed. Their speculation on Sun's & EMC's lower guidance could be due in part to their tremendous size and existing international presence. VRTS, NTAP, & EMC have all been trading higher following the update.

Good call. I also forgot that they now have all that Seagate backup software
in addition to their own volume manger, file system etc. So, maybe Veritas is
more like a NETA, what NETA is to security software, VRTS is to storage software,
heavy use in PC area.
