You're barking up the wrong tree. SONET is the lamest part of the optical market. Next time, read some of the market surveys by research firms first.

Perhaps both the goose and gander are cooked?

Like, what if JNPR is valued as if it's going to capture as much market as CSCO now enjoys?

What if CSCO is valued as if it's going to capture as much market as all of its competitors enjoy?

Odds would be against either one succeeding, don't you think?
