In principle I agree with much of what you are saying ... I for one am sick about this latest episode.. As far as the custody battle with my daughter I had no choice..Either I went for custody or she would have wound up either liek her Mom or dead.. Broward County is very parochial and I had my problems but even the Guardian Ad litem was on my side in the end.. so I wound up a single 45 year old man with custody of a 2 1/2 year old.. Thankfully I had a great family lawyer who was president of the American Family Lawers Soceity or something like that.. She was tough she was great.. The best thing that happened is Sam's mom was forced to dry out.. She disappeared for 2 years then came back..we had supervised visitation which I had to pay for..A real joke.. And now she is married and enjoys a normal relationship with her mother.. So it all wound up good..
