you said something about our "essence" persisting. Of what does this essence consist? I don't know. You're looking for something more definitive than my vague notion of connectedness and persistence. Maybe it's the idea that leads to the cure for cancer I mentioned before. Maybe it's the nutrients for a rose bush planted on my grave. Maybe it's just a sense of brotherhood. It's not something I've thought through because it doesn't really matter to me. I'm here now. Some day I will only be whatever I've left behind. Something is left behind, even if it's only dust. Maybe that dust will eventually contribute to the formation of a new Atlantis. Who knows. It doesn't matter. I'm here now. Karen
