You are correct, sir. Wolanchuk does, indeed, have a reputation for making extreme calls.

A friend put it like this to me when I e-mailed him the Wolanchuk interview for comment:

"As to Wolunchuck -- He's a bit of a Joe Granville -- Brilliant -- Sometimes scary right -- Sometimes a million miles off. He's always making this kind of call. When he's right, he calls himself a genius (like Granville). When he's wrong, he conveniently forgets."

But even if that were true, would'nt you expect extreme market predictions to be rarely if ever hit? If it were that easy, I would do it! <g>

Timer of the Year:
I used to follow the reports on the old FNN. As I recall the evaluations were/are done quite frequently, so anyone who wins does so by an accumulation of "correct" short term signals.
