Thanks for info on bold.
Can't believe how complicated this OS is. I tend to be conservative in making changes to the pc. When I had the Mac it was a snap playing around with stuff. In over 10 years I did not have to reformat a drive. I don't even remembering having to reinstall software.

Try Imaging, I'm pretty sure all Win 9X systems have it.
Start>Programs>Accessories>Imaging

It ain't no photoshop but it offers simple manipulating like resizing and rotating.
I use it to open jpegs with the Best Fit option selected.
