PAUL: It's like many are looking for the switch to be thrown. It just does not seem it will be that decisive. Someday we will be able to look back and recognize the bottom. Trouble is there can always be surprises that could reverse this in a heart beat as well as take us further down. I just hate having trends broken and gap on news unless of coarse I am loaded to the gills with positions that would benefit from such a move. <ggg>

P.S. rarely am I ever that lucky. Especially these days where my holdings are minimal. GH

interesting that sox held support but the smh (semi holders) has completely different daily chart.

i guess semi holder tracks the semi's, but not the same weighting as semi index itself.

i want to see more conviction and follow through with the market. But I do like the BASING action in the market today (albeit due to lack of traders today). but at least basing, so we can setup another move (up/down). My daily indicators are bottoming (not buy yet), so we will see.
