OK, I'll bite <g>

Were you able to finish your hamburger?

My cousin and her family raise their own food on a small farm in Vermont. I was there one weekend a few years ago and Lisa, a wonderful cook, made us an incredible brunch: fresh eggs, homemade muffins with blueberries she'd grown, homemade jam, bacon, great strong coffee with fresh milk. One of her children, then age eight, looked up from her breakfast plate holding a piece of crispy bacon and innocently asked" so who's this from, Jim or Tammy Faye?"

I drank coffee for breakfast.

I remember a single-panel cartoon on the comic page that played on the bull-charging-red myth. It showed a bull and cow standing at the edge of a pasture, and the bull, referring to a traffic signal beyond the fence, is saying to the cow, "Every minute and a half I feel like charging that thing."
