<<That means any idiot can buy a gun! >> No, by law any idiot is not supposed to be able to buy a gun, but since the 21,600 gun laws on the books are poorly enforced, it does happen all too often. We have a gun law here that says anyone caught with an unregistered gun goes to jail for a year, mandatory. Nobody goes to jail under this law. Kids caught with guns in schools are not even considered for this even though it applies. I mention the name of this law, Bartley-Fox, to my gun-control-crazy friends, and they don't even know what it is. Victor
