My hat's off to you, and I can only wish you continued success. I'm not entirely sure what your point is. If your point is that my advice is not good, all I can say is don't ask for it. I do the best I can, and what you get are no guarantees other than that you will get a full effort from me. For free. You get one more guarantee: I will be wrong and make mistakes. Our approach differs, clearly. Having been burned badly---and remembering the pain---I feel it better to be safe and trade higher probabilities and take earlier rather than later profits---and quickly cut losses---than to swing for the fences, winner take all, go for the gold. To me, it is all about consistency---RBIs win baseball games; tenacious defense and chewing up clock time wins football games.<< WS part of it has to be just stepping up to bat and taking a swing when the trend is in your favor. >> You only get three strikes. Taking swings is fine if the pitches are somewhere in the vicinity of the strike zone. You can only determine that by waiting for it to get as close to the plate as possible, watching carefully all the way. If you close your eyes just as the pitch leaves the pitcher's hand, then swing as hard as you can, you'll hit some out of the park, but over time, you'll also end up striking out a lot. Interestingly, Reggie Jackson, Mr. October himself, still holds the season and career strikeout records, to the best of my knowledge. I'd rather swing when I think the probability is high that I'll connect. I'd rather be Ted Williams than Reggie Jackson. Regards, Walkingshadow
