Does anyone know where one could get a excel "template" of schedule D on the net so one could fill it in as the year progresses? (and save a big headache at the end of the year)

Regards,
Knyyt

Quick question.. I have a friend that trades for a living and incurred more losses for 2000. He's wondering what happens if he doesn't file at all or files late? (i.e. is he still penalized despite the lack of income, etc.. and what are the penalties based on)

Thanks for the help

btw, someone wanted the spreadsheet.. Fill out the forms and under CC select "None, spreadsheet only".
