You hit it exactly right. Palm is where QCOM was a few years ago, with a bright but not yet certain future. Palm's returns from this point, if everything works out the way they want, with be higher than QCOM from this point. But, QCOM's future IS certain now, so the potential reward will be less. However, I do believe QCOM's earnings will greatly exceed most's predictions as few really understand what's going on in wireless.

Thus, I have considerably more shares in QCOM than Palm. However, I'll be watching Palm closely and as the future becomes more certain, I'll add. Likewise, if they don't maintain their OS as the dominant standard, I'll reduce or get out.
