OT

A tax plan:

1. No deductions; all income treated equally;

2. Graduated Tax Brackets:

0 - 50k 0%
50 - 100k 5%
100 - 150k 10%
150 - 250k 15%
250 - 500k 20%
500 - 750k 25%
750 - 1M 30%
1M - 2M 35%
2M - 5M 40%
5M - 10M 45%
10M - 20M 50%
20M - 35M 55%
35M - 60M 60%
60M - 100M 65%
100M and up 70%

Obviously adjustments might be required to secure sufficient tax revenue.

Cary,
Were you in Mississippi in 1964? Or were you being driven to private school in the family limo? Do your kids go to private or public schools? But protest against vouchers--we know the real reason. And if you are too young to remember, many of us who were radicals then continue to work for the cause both from the right and from the left. On one hand Willcousa waxes eloquently about the advantages of Singapore. And on the left it is you, always abusive and self righteous. Be a progressive and then the best of ideas of both left and right are available to you. Nah, you know it all already. Mike

PS And you dont have to worry about my portfolio. With all the joking that goes on here, you just dont get it.
