John we have a mess with health coverage but the solution is not as simple as switching to individual health plans. 1st of all you will be dealing with the same few insurance companies that are still providing health care insurance and they will charge you through the roof. The same coverage as via employer would cost you twice as much if not more. This is not because insurance companies are evil but rather because it is the nature of the game. There are better alternatives than what we have but individual coverage is not one of them. Regards -Albert
