Loudcloud is symbolic of the bad/malinvestment ideas that got funded the last few years, and helped bring on the current stock market debacle...

My favorite line from the piece: "Bankers, Venture capitalists are enthusiastic about Loudcloud's IPO"...
Hell, yeah....they can't wait to get out from under their own stupid, dog investments, and are hoping that if this dog with fleas can make it, maybe they can pawn off their bad investments on the sucker public too...

Now Scott....I think if someone was willing to give us $200-300 million dollars.....and said..."don't worry, you guys don't have to make a profit for 5 years"...we could build a pretty damn good business, doncha think? I do. Problem is, where would we find someone so stupid as to lend us that amount of money, under those terms? Oh, right, your average investor! Duh <G>
