I don't disagree with anything that you said. I am a fervent believer in personal responsibility and accountability. And the fact that celebrities are held to a different standard than us normal folk really irks me. I don't think that celebrities should be treated more harshly, just the same. However, I do believe that politicians and law enforcement types should be held to a stricter standard and should be held accountable for violating the public trust. Instead, they tend to be buffered from accountability.
