correction:

Not necessarily
.. although
Cienna has
equipment that
runs closer to
the edge than
anything CORV
has, currently,
they have core
technology.
What they don't
have is an o-o-o
switch.
Conversely,
CORV does not
have an o-e-o
switch
(although they
are scheduled to
release one in
the second
half... which
will push them
a bit further
toward the
edge)

"JNPR said that
all optical was a
pipe dream a
week later
BRW
introduces ...
all optical ..
etc"

JNPR was
referring to an
all optical
solution. The
ability to
interpret packet
data in optical
format i.e.
optical routers.
This has not
been achieved
and will not be
achieved for a
very long time
.. if ever This
tech goes
beyond the
current theories
being utilized in
the realm of
microphotonics.
All optical
processors ...
yes .. at this
point is, indeed,
a pipe dream
(we would need
a major
breakthrough in
physics)... .
Although there
have been some
interesting
developments in
opto-electric
chips.. this is
still not the
same thing.

"this
will eventually be rectified when the next customers have completed
their trials and are ready to put some ink on paper, :

Crusader do you have a list of who is currently doing field tests using CORV technology? I have yet to read one press release where anyone besides the 3 existing customers is doing any type of testing. Any info on this would be great. Thank you.

<sorry about those getting hurt during the makrket downtrun
but, that's the nature of the beast they take no prisoners and reward
only the stalworthy.

that's all I have to say about that.

try and remember those less fortunate than ourselves.> that is always excellent advice--those less fortunate than we on these boards number close to or more than 5 billion people i would say.P.S. a CORV remark, however, the company's secrecy is hurting it,their silence let's say is NOT golden, imo.
