Hi NYCB, I will stay with my 900-1400 for now, but am absolutely not discounting a worse outcome, ditto for S&P500/DJIA, as the politicians and bankers and fund managers can be such clever folks, always outdoing themselves. If we are talking a Japan scenario, then my 1400 would be a fond memory for the bulls.

Given that I have never shorted anything (except selling calls) directly, I intend to observe matters through that sniper scope and hold fire, reappraise these matters patiently. Never a hurry to lose money.

The intellectual challenge of navigating this storm is simply so much fun, when one is in dry clothing, on the mountain top, next to a fireplace, watching the storm via CNBC and broadband.
