I agree with you about the US Dollar/gold relationship.
A falling dollar would also have an adverse effect on the
US stock markets. The main concern I have is that we could
see something like the Japanese stock market performance
over the past 10 years. It seems unlikely, but if we
go back to the 1970's, it did take from 1973-1982 before
we finally resumed an upward move in the US markets.
