EXACTLY. Also, Tony Lee (wasn't that his name?), who was the original architect of Juniper's router operating system, which they claim is superior to IOS, left the company more than a year ago. So the brains of Juniper are at best as good as the brains at Cisco. Difference is that Cisco has a lot more of those brains and a lot more products to learn from and provide their customers with. In addition, with Cisco's Juniper killer now generally available, Juniper's market share gains may come to an abrupt halt. I think people are going to be surprised at the rapidity with which Juniper will come crashing down. In fact, it's demise may be as rapid as it's rise. That's technology for you.

So who do you all want to bet with? Goliath or David? David may have won in the bible, but does the Almighty choose sides when it comes to technology companies? Hmmm. You folks had better think about that one. Platitudes aside, I think the choice is pretty clear.
