I have enough doubt about what the ultimate findings will be not to want to make a definitive statement. If there were actual bribery going on, to look the other way, than it is very bad. I am convinced by some of the material I have read that the damage was fairly severe, but, like you, I am no expert. As I understand it, they gained a lot of US codes, compromising our own defenses, and leapt forward about ten or fifteen years in Mirv technology, for example. It seems to me, though, that an assessment of material damage, though important, means less than an assessment of whether the Administration were willing to compromise security for remuneration. That is the part that will need to be sorted through. It seems clear that money was illegally channeled, but we do not know if its source were known, or if there were a tit- for- tat...........

Nadine, I'm very knowledgeable in many areas of technology. If one understands the problem of correlation to the nanosecond and summing billions of discrete frequencies from a platform moving through the air at hundreds of miles an hour engaged in multi G maneuvers one understands quite well the technology of ballistic missiles.

Having an idea and having a working model to copy are orders of magnitude different. The plans of working models confirm or deny the theory in one's own technology. This is worth years and billions of dollars.

Using Florida as a gage of technological stupidity.
Democrats used a political scientist to profer technical reason to why ballot machines would not work. The Republican's had the design engineer completely debunk the political scientist. When the democrats used a real mathematician in Florida the gave him bogus data. His theories were shot down by the facts of the real data.

It's clear to me that democrat's don't even know what a lie is and all democrats believe that rapist's make good presidents. Their is a Rich body of evidence that supports this.
