The participation rate in the market is much higher today than in 1929.

Also, the number of consumer financing gimmicks out there more than makes up for the fact that there was 10% margin out there. Hence, the American consumer and corporations are more leveraged today than ever before.

You also forget the biggest thing. Do you think there was a derivatives market in 1929?

Look, like I said, you can PM me if you need more explanation, because you didn't even answer any of my contentions, while I answered yours. From here on out, I don't want to use the Amazon thread for this discussion.
