Scott, One of the major reasons cited for why we can not have gun laws is that there already innumerable guns available in our society; so that if you put in gun laws, the criminals would end up with all the guns. However, those same people never reach the conclusion that the reason we have so many guns is because our gun laws are so lax. And the reason they never reach that conclusion is because they don't want to...guns are a part of the Amerian [USA] mystique with which we can't bear to part. But now what's happened is that our kids have taken the mystique one step too far for our comfort level and we are in a dilemma......what to do...pandora's box is open and all hell is breaking lose. ted
