Articles such as Henderson's further raise the suspicion of all who are not idiots that the gold market is manipulated and the Fed is a key force behind this manipulation.

The Fed and the Clinton Treasury have long pursued the goal of destroying the only existing alternative to the US dollar as an international reserve asset. Hopefully the Bush Treasury will not follow along the same path.
