OT:

Does anyone know if the Bush tax plan includes hiking the amount of capital losses one can deduct from regular income. The current level of $3000 is absurd. This is one of the most inequitable features of the tax code IMHO. With many "investors" suffering heavy losses of late, such a change probably would hike consumer confidence in no small measure as well as restoring a degree of fairness to the system.

I concur, but I'm watching a couple of stocks in case it gathers up some momentum.

EDIT: What a dissappointment for the bulls, if they can't close this thing strong today! If so, the PPT has its work cut out for themselves.
