Hi Joe, I bought a few shares for the hell of it..I figure if the Wisconsin (State Of) Investment Board have held from 18<g> W/3mm shares I can grab a few(bad investment for them)..but won't ride it down very far<g>...Bsides the merger, there is the Bass boys from Texas invested in SKI,they should end up actually controlling the company(of course I beleive they have some large timeshare failures in their pocket already<vbg>) I just keep falling back to the amount of land they hold, and property values here have gone through the roof.Average new home going in here now is almost $600k..This is Vermont for goodness sakes!! Are they nuts? Every little Inn around has been purchased by a NY wallstreet/ investment banker type...Reminds me of the Bob Newhart show around here<lol> This past summer a private 9 hole golfcourse,indoor/outdoor tennis, 1 main house and 2 guess houses, built in pool, gym etc..and all the equipment sold for $2.5mm..the buyer, a 33 YO venture capitol guy..go figure<g>.Hell, it costs $200k/yr just to keep the place up<lol>
