bacchus_ii, Well, yes, I can see that Canuckian shipments from the USA are a bit stiff, esp by Fedex or UPS quickly. Brown or ground is cheaper..
Mail is better since the PO has the ability to gather duty and they only charge a $5 fee
Puriolator is to be avoided.

Can you use UPS ground in Canada. It's much cheaper in the US?
