OT: Lane, I think you're discounting the impact of a Republican congress on the "fiscal discipline" you speak of. I do agree that Greenspan is more to blame for the current environment than Clinton to the same degree that Clinton doesn't deserve the credit he took for the positive economic period. The fact that the Clinton administration did not have full reign had a positive impact on the markets/economy IMO. I, for one, am encouraged that we now have a president who is doing exactly what he said he would during the campaign and knows what the definition of "is" is. Now if we could just get past the "Eveready" Clinton scandals...
