At today's high, and also at about the time it was touted on another thread, it looked like a short to me -- only because it was trading at the top of its range. But it would depend on your time frame. And if it broke through 39.6, it could go higher.

As for earnings, stocks sell off on good earnings as often as they move higher. Buy on rumor, sell on news. It's dangerous to take a position right before earnings announcements, because the price could go either way, regardless of how good the earnings are. If the expectation was that earnings were going to be good, the stock might already be overbought at the time of the announcement. Once the news is out, there's a selloff.

But whatever. I'm sure there are easier ways to lose money than by following gurus' stock picks. How about by following analysts' picks? Or by buying right before earnings announcements?

Can we get an estimate of how many people have been banned from that other thread? Is it more than 100 yet?
