Quehubo,

<<<RIG Anyone have any post merger earnings forecasts for RIG? I see on Yahoo 2001 $1.55 and 2002 $3.43.

Lehman has a recent report showing $1.56 & $2.80 for 01, 02. >>>

I've previously estimated the earnings for FLC and RIG as separate companies, and lately after the merger I've combined the figures I got for revenue and net income along with the new number of outstanding shares.

For year end 2001 I get combined revenue of $3.018 billion, combined net income of $338 million, EPS $1.62. At today's price that would be PSR of 5.36 and PE of 31.6.

For year end 2002 I get revenue $3.657 billion, net $768 million, EPS $3.68. At today's price that's PSR 4.42 and PE 13.9.

Now of course trying to predict oil patch earnings that far out is risky business. Who knows? With todays JIT inventory management we'll probably have several gluts and crisis, and maybe even a war, in that time frame.
